FAQ

On Android, the system won't let an app reliably know when another app comes to the foreground without it. We use the Accessibility Service only to detect the moment a blocked app opens, so the quiz can appear instantly. We do not read what you type, screen content, passwords, or notifications. (On iPhone, LLLock uses Apple's Screen Time framework instead — no Accessibility access.)
The blocking and quiz loop is fully offline. Cards, decks, statistics, settings — all stored locally on your device in the app's private storage; uninstall and it's wiped. Only AI generation and photo-to-card need a connection (they call OpenAI). No account, no cloud sync.
The free tier has limits; full AI generation and photo-to-card unlock with the yearly subscription. When you use it, your prompt goes directly to OpenAI for processing — we do not store it.
Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → LLLock → Cancel. iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → LLLock → Cancel. Either way it takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and uninstalling the app does not cancel it.
Almost. Anything you can launch from your home screen — social, games, news, dating, video, even web browsers. System apps like Settings and Phone are off-limits to keep your phone usable.
Yes — LLLock is on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. Same idea on both: pass a quick quiz to unlock a blocked app. The under-the-hood blocking differs per platform (Accessibility on Android, Screen Time on iPhone), but the experience is the same.
